Hayden Island residents concerned about new plans

Over 40 people attended the "Citizens Bridge Impact Workshop" Saturday on Hayden Island.  The workshop, led by the Sustainability Clinic of Willamette University Law School, was very informative.  Subjects included discussion of the federal Environmental Protection Agency's and Multnomah County Health Department's concerns about issues with the current plans for the new I-5 bridge.

In addition, the workshop covered the legal rights that citizens have if citizen groups wish to articulate issues or concerns about plans for the bridge.
