Unnatural Causes, the February 9th Multicultural Film Festival documentary, is presented by the Jefferson High/North Portland Neighborhood Library Partnership and facilitated by Mr. Fred Miller of Portland Community College.  What most of us knew is now documented: There exists a health gradient tied to wealth: those at the top average longer, healthier lives; those at the bottom get sicker more often and die sooner.

In our April 6th Jefferson High School Multicultural Film Festival documentary - Reinventing the World: Cities – the film narrator Des Kennedy leads us through an exploration of various cities from East L.A. to Curitiba, Brazil where sustainability is becoming a priority.   This film even touches down in Portland, Oregon.

Join your hosts, Jefferson High School, our North Portland Branch Neighborhood Library, and our facilitator for the evening – founder of Portland’s RebuildingCenter on N.
