Baltimore Woods Native Planting with SOLV

On Dec. 5 Friends of Baltimore Woods and SOLV will continue their restoration work of the Baltimore Woods slope along N Decatur.  Volunteers will be planting a dense grass border along the right of way and maintaining the native berry and rose plants installed during the kickoff work party on Oct. 17.  Sign up to volunteer at www.SOLV.org and meet on N Decatur behind Cathedral Park Place at 9am.  Come on out to get your hands dirty, meet your neighbors, and learn about your local greenway.

Restoration of Baltimore Woods Begins

On Friday October 17, Friends Of Baltimore Woods and SOLV volunteers began restoration work on the Baltimore Woods.   Crunch McDonald offered her recently fire-scorched property at the intersection of N New York Ave. and N Decatur St.
