Atomic Pizza Celebrates by Donating to Local Non-Profits

Time flies when you're having fun and we are happy to say Atomic Pizza has been open for one year. To celebrate, we are giving 10% of our sales to two very dedicated local non-profit organizations. Saturday, March 6th 10% of sales will be donated to Family of Friends Mentoring Program. www.family-of-friends.org And Sunday, March 7th 10% of sales will be donated to Project Pooch pet rescue program. www.pooch.org. Please come celebrate with us and help support these great programs.

Overlook Livability Team Headed Out To Clean Up The Neighborhood

The Overlook Livability Team is a group of residents that meet once a month to clean up their neighborhood. Their main targets are graffiti and garbage, documenting and reporting the graffiti to the city then either removing or painting over it. Feb 7th the group will be meeting up at Di Prima Dolci at 9am and hitting the streets. If you see them, please tell them thank you for their hard work.

North Portland Artist Opening Dec. 9th at Atomic Pizza

Local North Portland artist Chris Herrman is an aspiring 3D artist. He uses 3D digital programs to create worlds of mystery and to also share the stories of the Orbs and their many adventures. A 15 year resident of this great state, he is excited to share his art with the public for the very first time. Please visit Atomic Pizza Wednesday December 9th from 6-8pm to meet the artist.

Fasai is an imaginative Thai artist, driven by a passion for self-expression through art. Born from an artist family, painting is in her blood, but it is her varied expression of her influences that distinguishes her as an artist. With a degree in English Literature and a previous career in Marketing and Public Relations, Fasai has always freely expressed her creativity.

Local St. Johns Resident Art Opening

On Wednesday August 19, 2009 local artist Carisa Lou Gasser will be holding an art opening at Atomic Pizza. Carisa, a St. Johns resident has been designing screen print posters for musicians nationwide for the last 10 years. She will be selling and autographing her limited edition hand-pulled work from 4:30pm – 7:30pm. Please come support this local artist.
